I would like to continue on with the energy theme for this post and give some insight and understanding into the “energetic healing work” that I focus on in my practice. To assist with the definitions and overview I will incorporate some of the material from Richard Gerber M.D., and his book entitled “A Practical Guide to Vibrational Medicine”.
“During the early part of the twentieth century, Albert Einstein came to the conclusion that matter and energy were actually interconvertible and interchangeable. He said that matter and energy were, in fact, two different forms of the same thing. If this is so, then all the atoms and subatomic particles making up the human body are also a kind of frozen energy as well. Since all energy vibrates and oscillates at different rates, then, at least at the atomic level, the human body is really composed of different kinds of vibrating energy. The term, “vibrational medicine”, comes from this fact. By using a vibrational-medicine approach, it is possible to diagnose different types of illnesses based on knowledge of the different frequencies of energy that can be measured coming from the human body. For example, many doctors routinely order electrocardiagrams (EKG’s) on patients as part of their yearly exams. The electrical energy coming from the heart can give doctors information about whether the heart is functioning properly.”
Most information that the organs receive is in the form of chemical messages that help to regulate the function of each organ within the context of the bodies daily needs. But the organs and the cells making up each organ also communicate with each other using nonchemical forms of information-carrying messengers. For instance, we now know that the cells of the body actually emit weak pulses of light. (biophotons) These weak cellular light impulses seem to be part of a light-based communication system that helps coordinate the actions of the cells within each organ. Our cells also communicate through coded messages carried by hormones and biochemicals. The cells of the body have their own intelligence that allows them to understand and use this coded information in its many forms in order to maintain the body in a state of health. These energy systems of the body are within the realm of conventional electromagnetic, electrical and chemical energy systems. We also work with other energy systems which we are discovering are perhaps more critical to life than the aforementioned energies. These are the important life-energy and spiritual energy systems of the multidimensional human and include:
The Acupuncture-Meridian System, the body’s biocircuitry and the Chakras or spiritual connection to health.
I will continue with these other life and spiritual energy systems next time. I hope to provide some insights on the complex nature of our being and why it is important that each of us learn how to interpret the messages that our body provides us every day. By doing this, we actively engage in our own well-being and do not give our power away or feel helpless. We all hold the answers within to allow for our highest level of health, balance and joy. I get to learn more about myself every day as I pay attention to my body’s messages and as I work with clients on their journeys.
I’d love your feedback. And feel free to leave a link back to your own blog as well via the commentluv feature here on the site.
Until next time,
Karen
