I am so grateful that I work with clients and have amazing colleagues who witness, share, and provide real-life examples of how much is shifting right now. If I only had my inner experience, I might really wonder at times if I am okay.
Does this relate to any of you?
A Season of Deep Transformation
I know it has been a big year for many, and in my world, September seemed to birth a whole new level of transformation that continues to this day.
A big part of my life’s work has been feeling safe to speak my truth, so my throat chakra is where I tend to experience blocks. Out of what felt like nowhere in September, I got laryngitis — no voice for a full day before I could even squeak something out. That cleared, and then a cold set in for a few days. I stopped and rested before resuming my client work, etc.
Great, all clear to begin October, which was planned to be a fantastic and full month for myself and my family.
The New Human Event: A Heart-Opening Experience
The first weekend, my husband and I set off for Kelowna, B.C., to attend the annual New Human Event hosted by Dr. Kevin Preston. The incredible lineup of presenters included Dr. Zach Bush, Richard Rudd, Stephanie Nosco, and Mei-Lan Maurits.
Once again, this event was profoundly transformative as we delved into the energy of the collective and our own magical being. The meditations — accompanied by the talented voices of those around us and held in the company of 700 like-minded souls — provided the container for some powerful awarenesses and release.
We reflected on the potential that comes from releasing old programs and negative emotional memory stored in our cells, allowing our hearts to truly lead us forward into a more loving, peaceful existence.
It’s hard to express in words the profound feelings that were ignited and the inspired hope for a brighter future.
Lessons in Trust and Letting Go
Leaving this event, more deep memories were stirred up, and my husband and I both returned home with viruses. I knew this was a deeper letting go, and I supported my body in every way I knew how to allow the release.
I must say, it took a new level of acceptance for me. I was so done with feeling off, and my instinct was just to push through. However, it required a softening and trust that all was in order.
There was a whole other level that unfolded through what took place for my family, yet the process for me was the same: accept and trust that all is unfolding for the highest good. That opened a new level of comprehension and possibility, allowing my past patterns of judgment to arise and be witnessed.

A Month of Celebration and Connection
On Thanksgiving weekend, our whole family went away to an incredible chalet in Meaford to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. It was truly a magical time together, away from the busyness of everyday life.
The very next week, I went with my chorus to an international competition in Columbus, Ohio. We were the current champions, so we were there to serve as ambassadors, perform an outgoing package, and assist our director in an educational class for the organization.
It was a remarkable week filled with uplifting moments, incredible singing, and opportunities to connect with others from around the world who share a love for a cappella music.
A month filled with heightened joys and challenges has brought some deeper teachings. I know that I am capable of welcoming them all, and I trust that everything comes to bring the experiences I need to grow and appreciate this life of mine.

Nourishment for the Season Ahead
As we enter the winter season, there is an opportunity to tune into what we need to support ourselves through transitions. It feels like deep nourishment is required for each of us.
There are so many practices to consider; however, it’s important to tune into what serves you best. You can never go wrong connecting with nature, and finding community is also richly rewarding and supportive.
We thrive when we are held and allow creativity to flow. Find your community, even if it’s just a couple of people you can gather with on a regular basis.
Upcoming Women’s Wellness Circles
Over the winter, I’ll be offering a combination of in-person and online Women’s Wellness Circle events — with November and December in person, and January and February online.
Energy Themes for November
I’m not sure if any of you listen to Lee Harris’s energy updates each month, but they are usually quite informative and accurate. The top three themes for November are:
- The amplification of the mystic and spiritual experiences
- The speed of this multidimensional chrysalis that we’re all in
- Revelations and reckonings around human health
You can find his full November update on YouTube to hear his explanation of each of these themes and more.
Also on YouTube, I recommend Pamela Gregory’s astrological highlights, which I always find insightful and grounding.
So, happy November, happy tuning in, and happy staying connected.
Thanks for reading my blog. Till next month!
