For the past couple of years, I have been listening to my inner urge to find new space to do my healing work. Where I have been is wonderful and has served me perfectly for the past 11 years and I was ready for more. More space, more possibility, and a place to make my own tea!
I kept my ears and eyes open and looked at few different spots but nothing was resonating. I realized how much I liked my current location. So if I was to stay there, the only space that provided more room and the flexibility I was looking for was a suite downstairs and it was occupied. I knew from conversations with the business in there, they were also looking for another location that was bigger still for their whole operations.
So – I put a message out to the universe and then the property manager that I was interested in this space when the time was right. I would often find myself visioning being in that office space when I pulled into the parking lot saying to myself – one day this is where I will be practising.
That day came on an early November Monday as I was looking through my e-mail. A note came through from the current tenant expressing their gratitude for getting to know all of us in the building over the past couple of years and that they had finally found their new space. Wow! I had to read it again and then without hesitation sent a note to the property manager to ask if the space had been spoken for. The quick response back was – no, it was available for Dec.1st. After a few discussion points back and forth, I accepted the new conditions and signed the lease. Amazing.

Then I could hardly stop from thinking about it constantly. How I would set it up, what I needed to purchase, how the timeline would fit into my schedule. The layout came effortlessly and then I started searching The Restore, the Millionaires Daughter, Ikea, various building stores, etc.
A brand new client came to me that same week who is an artist. She happened to have a picture of her last piece on her phone and showed it to me. I fell in love and said it would be perfect for my new space. A girlfriend called and when I said I would need a little bar fridge, said she had one I could have. Everything was flowing.
December 1st came along and the painters went in and cleaned up with a whitewash. Not wanting to have a white office space, my husband and a friend spent the weekend painting the walls a beautiful soft yellow. The next week saw the carpets being cleaned and my items being brought in. The second weekend of December was official move in. My husband again stepped up to assemble the new pieces and assist in carrying large items down from my upstairs space and hang all the pictures. I truly felt supported.

I could not be happier. It feels wonderful to be in this new space along with my colleague Lynn Mitanoff who is there seeing clients on Wednesdays. I have a couple of display cabinets to share and offer items produced locally that are in alignment with wellbeing. I would love to welcome you into this new space for a reiki, biophoton light therapy session or relationship coaching or arrange to visit for a cup of tea.
As we approach the winter solstice I feel comforted knowing this sacred space is all set up to support the new energy of the coming year. I wish for each of you reading this belief in knowing dreams are the birth of new reality and to trust the universe to provide the pathway to bring them into that reality.
