What an incredible summer we are experiencing! Somehow as we arrive at September, our world still changes cycles. We are in the rich harvest time of our area with Farmers Markets loaded with produce and for those ambitious few who capture summer in a jar; it is a busy time. I love seeing the beautiful colours of summer filling my jars ready to provide nourishment throughout the winter months. On my to-do list are peaches, chili sauce, apple sauce and beets. Yum!

Changes also come for the Women’s Wellness Circle as we move back indoors with the fading light. We sure brought August circle out to play in full rhythm and colour last week with Elisha MacMillan and Shaw Percussion who led us in a Dundun Dance Drumming event. The stormy dark clouds were all around us however Mother Nature supported us and we even had the sun shine through on our circle.
For those women interested in joining us for any given month’s event, here is the line-up for the balance of the year. Be sure to check out the websites of our amazing presenters and learn about the gifts each will be bringing.
Upcoming Women’s Wellness Circle Events:
September 22nd, Lindsay de Swart – ‘Being More Than Ordinary’ Coach at Lindsay de Swart. Lindsay helps people who are frustrated, bored and tired with ‘Ordinary life’ to create a life they REALLY want!
October 27th, Cathy Nesbitt – allow Cathy to show you how easy it is to release stress from your body with laughter! That’s right – an evening of laughter yoga – no experience required nor do you need yoga mats and yoga wear. Come as you are.
