Did you know that beeswax candles clean the air when they burn? Beeswax releases negative ions when it burns. Pollen, dust, dirt, pollutants and any other junk in the air all carry a positive charge, and that is how they can be suspended in the air. The negative ions released from burning beeswax negate the positive charge of the air contaminants, and the neutralized ions are sucked back into the burning candle or fall to the ground.
I recently traveled to Arizona to attend a Reiki Masters Intensive led by Phyllis Lei Furumoto of the Reiki Alliance. It was nurturing on many levels. I was with a beautiful community of reiki masters from around the world and though we had never met, there was a connection brought through this healing gift we shared.

out of body experiences – this topic drew the most discussion on the evening of circle. Donna described her own experiences with this from a young girl as she would wake up in the night mentally aware of where she was but unable to move her body…this is called body paralysis. It is a temporary experience and happens as she describes when the soul is leaving the body for astral travel.
