The Night We Became Best Sellers

For anyone who has been following me, you will know that I was part of a co-authored book entitled “Success Redefined” which launched on June 11th. We had an incredible day together in Collingwood hanging out with our co-authors and our mentors from The Monarch and Co Publishing at the posh Sir Sandford Loft. There was a hair and make-up artist, delicious snacks/meals and such camaraderie entangled with excitement for the evening.

At 5 o’clock we headed over to the Simcoe Street Theatre to get the lay of the land, test mics and go through the schedule of events. As we were heading on stage for our dry run-through, we learned that our book had hit Best Seller category for Women in Business on Amazon!!! WHAT!!! How fantastic was that news to be able to share with our family and friends coming to the launch party. And party it was! We all answered questions from our moderator Jessica Flynn, followed by questions from the audience. The rest of the evening was spent signing books, chatting and feeling all the joy coming together.

I was blown away by the support I had from my family and special friends from my chorus, some of whom completely surprised me with their attendance. I had a permanent smile on my face and a larger one in my heart.

From the Launch Party to Newfoundland

The following day, my husband and I headed out for a weeklong music tour in Newfoundland with The Ennis Sisters so my joy continued in a different form. Returning from this whirlwind of excitement found me settling into a sense of – whew, now what? So many ideas were running through my head and yet I felt like I needed some space to land. So that is where I am currently…landing and listening to what wants to come next from this. One idea landed with ease and grace last week and so the very next event will be my July Women’s Wellness Circle.

Join Us: Fireside Chat with the Authors

For those in the geographic area, come join us for a “Fireside Chat with the Authors” on Thursday the 23rd from 7-9pm at our home. We may have anywhere from 3-11 of the authors coming together for the evening to share stories and chat with those of you who come along. I feel excited to host this. By then, I may be in a position to announce the next ideas unfolding.
