What is the difference between Reiki and therapeutic touch therapy?
In my experience – Theraputic Touch is another energy healing modality that differs in two ways. Firstly – it is not direct contact, the practitioner works in the energy field surrounding the body and secondly, it is the practitioners energy connection working with the client. In reiki, students and practitioners receive attunements that open their receiving antenae so to speak, to channel the universal life force energy so they are not draining their own energy. It is much bigger than one person and therefore the practitioner can also receives energy while offering healing. Reiki is usually offered as a hands on healing when in person and can also be used to send distant healing with the Level 2 training. I hope that answers your question Marg. Thanks for checking in.
